Magic happens when we gather on the land, take time to listen, observe, let go to the earth and then “map” our experiences-moving the energies that move from earth, through us, onto paper. Conversations are deep; full of knowledge of the land shared; laughter; connections strengthened. Nervous systems unwinding.

August 28, 2026 the Regenerate Whatcom Permaculture Meet-up was held at Inspiration Farm-a clear, cool, beautiful day! We walked the land, saw the abundance of nature when water is supported to soak into the land, and snacked on berries, pears, apples, autumn olives and more. Conversations were ongoing-people chuffed to share, learn, meet each other.

Back at home base, paper, markers and a map of the Nooksack Watershed were available.

Amazing food topped off a rich afternoon. There is nothing like sharing food, conversation, the beauty of nature and shared purpose!
